Marc Mueller Interview
So Mr. Mueller, how does it feel to win the Ed Bankowski Memorial Award in its Inception Year?
"Feels great. To win an award named after such a fantastic human being and embassador of the league. I am happy that AGAIN, I didn't lose to a guy double my weight, and half my talent "
What do you think about the voting system? Chris King Seems to hate it..
"Its a bit fucked.. Its in its first year, will have some growing pains. Id only really complain if I didnt win.. so the system is okay. "
Chris King Comment "Why can't I vote for every body?"
Rebuttled from JH "Well.. wtf should you be voting for O-Line or D Line? What is this, the CanWest?"
Back to Marc Mueller.. Did you feel the heat from Reid Quest, who was heavily endorsed by Brendan Owens?"
"No."
So... Prediction for tomorrow? Big Guy.. ?
"BIG.. Team Swight Victory. My Third Str8 ITFL championship. I predict a big game for Chris "Touchdown" King.""
The team that you play is considered stacked on defense.. Where is the mismatch?
"Everywhere. Especially whoever Famulak, and Shamulak..AKA..Michael Kerr.. are covering.. Because those guys suck!"
Wow.. good answer.
Anything else before we catch up with you on the SidelineCam tomorrow?
"Nah.. See ya'll after my third straight championship for da bois!"
Note: All-Star ballots ready. Grab them from me, or e-mail to complete electronically, or fill out at Thursdays game. Awards to be released next week before Finals.
Playoff Bracket
Team Swight (5-1) VS Team Sigh (1-4-1) Team Swight
Team GHL (2-1-2) VS Team SKI (1-2-3) Team SKI
Team Swight > Team Sigh in a DEFAULT win. (I guess when the last place team is missing its top two players, and shows up with 4 guys, it is a standard call).
To make use of the facilities, I volenteered to play for the other team as to have enough to play a pick up game. There is no need for a breakdown as Bruce and Owens decided to video tape to video tape the games (video coming soon)!.
Quick notes: Even though I manipulated the entire offense to try and get me touchdowns, we were held scoreless..... UNTIL... the last play of the game.. When I, too frusterated with the play of our QB to that point, took the snap from shot gun, and fired a dart to a receiver in stride for a TD. Yes.. thats right, I currently have an ITFL quarterback rating of 158.3. (Note, they may have thought they were on offense and all "ran routes" at me, leaving the receiver wide open.. but oh well.)
I also managed to get my second INT, and turned an attempted bull rush versus me into a little pancake! Hopefully the video has the evidence as to confirm it was legit.

Week 6 ITFL Summary
Team Swight over Team GHL 7-4, Team Lang comes back to tie Team Ski 5-5
#HOP Week 6
QB: No one stood out to be noticably bad
WR: Zach Olynich gets KO'ed by a mesh wall
DB: Again, with no sideline reporter, it was very difficult to guage which players were getting pwned.
DL: John Hashem - Guy just cant keep contain. Looked like a blind dog in a meat house.
OL: Steve Hanson- Ah... here we go.. someone to pick on. When the guy is claiming to be a #HOP at half time, and then goes on to have a worse second half then first half, hes gonna get a shout out. 3 or 4 dropped balls with tones of space. Team GHL had to go to a 2 OL set in order to cover up for Steve's blunders and found a rhythm too late.
#creampie week 6
QB: Marc Mueller : Almost gave it up with 2 INT's to Kitty Prohl, but the 7 touchdowns saved some face.
WR: Jared Janotta: When JJ showed up (fashionably late), with his team down 1-0, it took him but 1 play to stretch the entire field and score a TD. If he didn't show up, an upset may have happened. Runner Up ; Chris King (3TD's, tho no style points on any of them)
DB: Jordan Sisco: Though I didn't see the game, I am assuming his 2 INT day involved less blown coverages then Catlyn Schneiders. Runner Up: Catlyn Schneider: Back on Paul Dawson's radar?
OL: John Hashem: Whenever you have to block The Dream and not allow any major protection issues, you get a check mark. When you block him, then run late seam routes for two half field+ gains and a TD, you get the nod.
DL: A couple 1 sack guys, didn't see enough of the other game to give a shout out. Bjorn, Stefan, Famulak, and Sciog all got 1 sack a piece. (Note: Akiem Hicks, blocked by me, Zero Sacks)
Two Way Player of the Week: Jordan Sisco: 2 int's + 1 TD surely was a major part in his team's big comeback.
Top Value Picks By Round / Entire Draft
End Season Top Value Picks VS Pre Season Top Value Picks

7/3 TD/INT; 3 Rush TD; 8 Rec TD; 4 Def Int
Round 2: Jamir Walker (Jamir Walker)

5 Sack, 1 INT
Round 7 N/A (Buhler - IR)
No standouts
Round 8: Catlyn Schneider (Schneider)
3 INT (1 TD), 2 Rec TD
Wow John, 4/8, with 3 of the wrong ones on IR and were on pace for 7/8
Note: Some credit to Marc Mueller for drafting 3 of the "Top Value Picks" and trading for the
2011 Top Value Pick
CHRIS KING
Draft Busts by Round
Round 1: Jason Clermont/Chris Getzlaf/Tamon George - This great tandum combined for 1 TD
Round 2: Jay Smith -5 TD game really inflated his stats. First 4 weeks were MIA
Round 3: Zach Oleynick – Didn’t have an awful season, but defiantly got pwned by that net
Round 4: Kirby Kezama – Just didn’t make enough plays. And he had 2 missed tackles vs me!
Round 5: Matt Yausie – Ram’s took a chance on Sam Bradford’s shoulder.. the other end of the spectrum
Round 6: Stan Van Sichem –Is this guy even in the country?
Round 7: Will Disbery –Who is this?
Round 8: Stefan Charles – Caused way to much drama for his production
Bust of the Draft: Whatever happened in the 4 spot. Can't put all the blame on any one person, obviously a lack of communication.
Week 5 ITFL Summary
Well this is starting to get pathetic. Team Swight beats Team Sigh 11-1, Team GHL(Quest) ties Team SKI 6-6... Is this the easiest playoff bracket in the history of March Madness? (besides the semi-final of the two teams that have tied eachother twice now?)
Brendan Owens, out for the season with a hamstring injury has taken the role of sideline reporter... here are his notes on the game:
King: "Sisco kid will dominate but fall short due to his own demize of 2 pick sixes. Will pull a groin." Found out Lang is QB.. "3 pick sixes".
Kerr: "Get the fuck out of here"
Akiem: "Im a stud, I got 2 sacks. I wake up and pizz excellence"
Sisco "Its going to be tough. Marc is good and accurate. If we fire on all cylinders, we will get the 2 points (does he mean in the win column or the stat sheet... preview.. i don't think they got either)
Special shout out Dan Knaus for making his ITFL debut with the seasons first Kick return TD.
Knaus "Feels great, good blocks (no blocking aloud in ITFL) good to break into the league and take momentum
Famulak (post roasting) "That was not a touchdown" (finds out Owen's is reporting) "doint fucking right that down"
Mike Kerr "The physical contact out there is bruising out there" (wtf)
*Hanson pancakes lippy on a rush
Hanson (post TD) "[ancaked lippy, reid made a good "read" and hit me with a heads up play on my part"
Kerr (on Hanson's TD) "On field awareness is just down on the team"
Bully (post dropping a ball) "Fuck you faggots!!"
Adam Reiser makes a diving sack on Lipinski = amazing play
#HOP teams
QB: Matt Lang. This was pretty gross. "Hey Matt... 3 verticles doesn't work versus cover 3..unless you make a good throw". "Hey Matt.. out run that 300 lb guy chasing you or switch to a 2 OL set. How did no one on this team go Jones+Bjorn blocking, with Mark McConkey and Jordan Sisco running deep routes? Quote from Ed Bankowskie after Lang slips/sacked for the 5th time "Still got your slider on?"
WR: Mark McConkey. This hurts as I love the guy, but you cannot let Chris King break up 4 TD jump balls to you. If you want me to put you on the Brendan Owens weight lifting plan, I will.
DB: Steve Famulak. I didn't even see this game ( I was too busy... #winning) but Steven Hanson answered the question of "who had a bad day covering" with such conviction that I think I will just go with it. Though we stopped keeping track of TD's allowed, rumour is that it is in the 3+ range. Runner Up Kirby Kezama. Well when I make Kirby miss in the open field it is one thing, but when Jamir and Bates roast him on back to back deep balls, you got to #HOP.
OL: Brett Jones. Get open, or block a guy, or dont snap it over the head on the first play of the game, or ask for help, or get of the field and go with a 4 receiver set.. but whatever you do, help out your #HOP QB.. though you already carry enough weight of the team on your back.
DL: Bjorn Person. Same comments as Jones. I understand that you had a mismatch nightmare that likes to sneak out of the backfield, but maybe adjust and blitz 2 or blitz zero.
#creampie s
QB Marc Mueller : This game was a matchup of the leagues front runners for MVP. I think its a one man race now. Sisco should take the rest of the snaps at Receiever to try to get that receiver All-ITFL pick. Runner Up Reid Quest: Pretty solid game for the newest member of the .... Concordia Stingers? I guess you better enjoy these small subtle awards for the next 3 years.
REC Jay Smith: Big day for the second round pick... drafted ahead of Jamir Walker... drafted ahead of Chris King... 5 touchdowns wow.. Jason Priceish. I didn't see any, but Steve assures me that some were pretty nice. This now brings Jay Smith to 6 TD's on the season.. tied with Jordan Hus and John Hashem. Runner Up : Chris King: Another big day for TouchDown-King.. his smash route in the corner of the end zone was nifty. However.. he gets this shout out due to him actually convincing Mueller to run a trick play designed for me to score (King motions in while I wheel out, King snaps it to Mueller and hopefully the DL is trying to cover me on the swing ball) however the guy covering King decided to switch to zone mid play and costed us a big TD!.
DB Chris King: Having to fill in for Jared Janotta in the vaunted "Swight 3" (not quite as catchy as Tampa-2, but you get the idea) is a massive task, to make matters worse, you have Iso coverage on Marc McConkey all day long. When Matt Lang decided to throw the ball in the general area of his receiver, King managed to break up 3 or 4 balls that McConkey got at least one hand on. No INT's but an amazing performance
Runner Ups Austin Bates + Jamir Walker : The Swight 3 only works when all 3 of the players make big plays within the context of the scheme. Both players came down with late game interceptions and essentially pitched a shut out ( I heard they gave @Jo12dan_Sisco a big spot on a "touchdown")
OL John Hashem: No sacks, infintesimal pressure, 8+ catches, 4 touchdowns (3 of which were not the standard OL leak)... a very modest player as well! Runner Up Jorgan Hus: 3 TD's get a shout out. Runner, Runner Up Steve Hanson one td + annoying me for a shout out.. gets a shout out..sort of
DL Chris Sciog: 4 sacks, one INT from a batted ball, huge game! Runner Up John Hashem: One sack (safty) and a big batted ball that got intercepted.. constant pressure.. This dynamic duo sure makes the back end of the defense look good sometimes.
Two Way Player: Chris King, Runner Up: okay I will stop tooting my horn.. soon enough... but big men are not meant to play both ways + both specials
John Hashems All ITFL team (official voting will take place after next weeks game)
QB: Mueller
Rec: King / Sisco / Janotta
DB: Walker / Bates / Sisco
OL: Myself
DL: Hicks
2 Way player: Sisco
MVP: Mueller
Week 3/4 ITFL Summary
Due to the lack of score keeping (Travis Gorski) we are unable to justify authentic #HOP teams. However, here are your #creampies
Week 3:
QB: Jordan Sisco: 5 passing TD's + 3 Rushing TD's is impressive enough without Brett Jones being your top target on the day. Runner Up: Marc Mueller: 7 TD's + 1 Rushing.. Though the stats are close, the level of talent surrounding Mueller is incomparable.
REC: Jared Janotta : 2 monster TD's, one being a full field jump ball.
DB: Jordan Sisco: During the previous week, I asked Jordan "When are you going to live up to your pre-season second-team all ITFL DB grade?" He assured me that no one has caught a ball against me all year. I told him.. get your name on the stat sheet homie. He responded with 2 INTs
OL: John Hashem: The questionable "safty" aside, securing protection versus the vaunted Akiem Hicks and allowing Mueller to play that defense like a fidle counts for something.. so does 2 touchdowns (including a play-of-the-day type 1 handered that was intended for the receiver behind him.)
DL: Akiem Hicks: Still made big plays, including the safty and a big pass knockdown in the red zone
Two Way Player: Jordan Sisco. Not even close
Week 4
QB: Marc Mueller: Sort of a default pick, though 5 TD's and zero INT's is pretty good on any day
Rec: Jared Janotta: 2 gross TD's, one being a 1 yard slant that he decided to part the entire defense comprised of CIS/CFL starting defensive backs
DB: Jared Janotta: 2 INT's, one to the Hizzy.
OL: No one stood out
DL: Akiem Hicks: 3 sacks.. in touch football... when Jordan Sisco is the QB?
Two Way Player: Jared Janotta: 3 full field TD's in the first 10 minutes of play. Wow Sir Richard Shop

-More details will be listed later
-Major Awards: MVP (The Bankowski) , Down lineman (The Big Dick Bandit), and Defensive player (The Cake Eater?)
Week 2 #HOP Team
QB: The only thing consistent about Matt Lang is his ability to make this team on a weekly basis.
WR: Mike Kerr – After a massive 2 TD performance in week 1, a guy’s held receptionless. In his defense (his day job thankfully) he was manned up with an early favorite for All-ITFL DB#3. Runner up: Jared Jannota – Sir Richard Shop had a massive drop with a chance to open the game 3-0. I guess he saved some face with making an incredibly TD reception to go up 5-4.
DB: Ty Buhler – Roasted for 3 touchdowns by the player he was traded for. The good thing about low points is there is generally water in the ground and a consistent climate. Defiantly a good spot to try and #rebuild. Runner up Jarad Janotta the first half meltdown was highlighted by a 50 yard TD pass up the right sideline in cover 3.
OL: John Hashem – A massive drop on a suspect ball, and a mistake in blitz pickup on 3rd and goal kept the game close. Runner up – All other OL graded positive
DL: Steve Hanson - Blown coverage or not, when the opponents center scores 2 tubs.. #HOP… ¬Runner Up Bjorn Person: failed to generate effective pressure while losing track of the center for some large gains.
Two-Way-HOP: Jared Janotta – basketball shape. Hillis may cave to the Chize, but the leaders of team Swight will not put up with blackouttrips.
Week 3 #creampie Team
QB – Marc Mueller – Very close, but quarterbacks get paid to win ball games, nothing else.
WR – Chris King – A million dollars isn’t cool, you know what is cool?? 3 touchdowns versus the player you got traded for (with high style points on 2 of them) Runner up Jordan Sisco: 3 TD’s usually gets you noticed, thought not enough for Team Swight to cover him in the end zone. If a guy drags a toe on 4th down, a guy probably takes home the bacon. See JJ/RichardShop/Chize for how to finish
DB – Austin Bates – 2 int’s, one a game winner going end-zone to end-zone, second biggest impact play of the year (#1 goes to the Runner up Kitty Prohl holding the big body of Mike Kerr receptionless after calling him out in pre-game goes a long way. Can someone show this guy Paul Dawson’s office?)
OL – Jorgan Hus – 2 huge td’s, great work, great shitter. Has some problems in protection, but is consistently exploiting teams that use a big body DL type to attack the undersized center. Good application of game theory in the opinion of this philosopher type. Runner up – Steve Hanson not pretty, but found the endzone finally.. twice!
DL – No official DL stood out, so ill give a shout out to the leagues sack leader: Matt Yausie. May be out a week or two, but the guy has a chance at being crowned sack kick at the end of the year (not to be confused with king of the sack, mike kerr).
2 way #creampie of the week: Reid Quest: Making plays on both sides of the ball. Mueller throws picks, Reid makes picks. A pick by Reid on Marc next week could flip the tides for winning The Bankowski
Highlight shout outs: JJ game winning toe drag. Austin bates pick six to seal game (End zone to end zone), Taylor Kidby undressing Lipi, John Hashem making Kirby miss in open field
Week 2 Injury Report:
Taylor Kidby – OUT (3-5)
Matt Yausie – Doubtful (1 week)
John Hashem - Probable
Week 1 #HOP team
QB: Matt Lang - Throwing a pick 6 will put you in Frank's dog house. Throwing it to Kitty Prohl will put you in Bernie's Out House. Runner up: Joel Lipinski: Thank Austin Bates
WR: Ty Buhler: When you get 1 on 1 coverage, and Marc Mueller leads you to pay dirt.. dont be afraid of the big bad net. Runner Up: Chris King - Wow, Kitty Prohl is responsible for 2 casualties so far. Some predicted a big day for the TD King, some predicted a big day for the guy covering him. One TD in this matchup is a win for the defense.
DB: Kirby Kezama - Star Owens is no easy task, but alas, it is a task that one must attempt to slow down. Runner Up: Shawn Kuster: if tackles were a stat in ITFL, then the stat sheet may have shown Kuster to have had a great day (10+ tackles!). Too bad his style of play is not considered optimal for ITFL. Didn't get beat deep, but got shreded for medium gains all afternoon.
OL: Brett Jones - Snaps, pressure, missed catches taken back to the house.. Lucky for you, Akiem was playing on a bad wheel. Runner Up: John Hashem: highest drafted OL makes little impact in first week.
DL: Stefan Charles - Couldn't get to the QB this game, wasn't there in coverage. A guy can get a break, if he didn't come fart near our bench. She Love My Big needs to shed the blockers quicker and get those long arms up.. Remeber, its okay to get blocked, its not okay to stay blocked. Runner Up: ??
Week 1 #creampie team
QB: Reid Quest - Massive game. Matt Lang may have had a bigger week in the curling world, but Reid Quest showed him who is the favorite to back up Mueller next year for the Rams. (Maybe in next week's action, he will show who should start???) Runner Up - Marc Mueller. Played good enough to win, needs some bigger plays from his play makers. Needs to play better when teams blitz.
WR: Jordan Sisco - Big plays, Big Fashion, Big Dip's Runner Up - Brendan Owens - 6 reps at 225.. all I have to say.
DB: Jamir Walker - It helps having 3 arms. Runner Up - Kitty Prohl his play was almost sweeter then Erika's Treat. Shut down TD King for the most part. Second Runner Up -Austin Bates: was two dropped INT's away from a historic game
OL: Brenden Bennet - big day for the 8th round pick. Huge TD play was epic. Good snaps and protection. Shut down Mr. She Love my Big, you know ;) Runner up - Steve Hanson - May have had a huge TD, ITFL needs instant replay for him to get the nod on the stat sheet.
DL: Akiem Hicks - Knocked down more balls then Kobe in that playoff commercial. Looked like a blind dog in a meat house when the center went into pattern, but he will only get better as he adjusts to the Canadian game. Runner Up: Joel Lipinsk: Not a DL, not a DB? Hybrid Joel was a game changer in the second half as they decided to play zero and let the speedster go after Mueller. The late game adjustments by Team Swight were too little, too late.
Two Way Player Of The Week - Austin Bates: 1 TD, 2 INT's, 2 more dropped INT's that were both tipped and caught for TD's by Team SKI.

Draft Results
The following ratings are used to determine the players draft grade:(1. Offense/2. Defense/3. Commitment)
The ratings are adjusted to the playing environment of ITFL. I.e. A strong defensive lineman who lacks breakaway speed will not have a high defensive grade. Likewise, a good blocker who doesnt factor well into the passing game will not receive a high grade.
Offensive Rating: (5) = Uncoverable, (3) = Useful, (2) = Max points for blocking, (1)=Offensive Liability
Defensive Rating: (5) = Can man cover O-5's, or Unblockable (3) = Adaquate Zone player, (2) Average Pass Rush, (1)=Liability, (0)= Absolute mismatch
Commitment: (3) = Will show up every time, (2) = Will miss on occasion (1) = Can't count on showing up, (0) = If he shows up you ask "are you even on our team?"
The sum of the 3 catagories forms the draft grade as follows:
| Captian | Round 1 | Round 3 | Round 5 | Round 7 |
| Lang | 1. Jordan Sisco: A(5/5/2) | 9. Chris King: B+(4/3/3) | 17. Brett Jones: C(2/1/2) | 25. Bjorn Person: C+(2/2/3) |
| Mueller | 2. Jared Jannota: B+(5/2/3) | 10. Austin Bates: C+(3/3/1) | 18. Connor Haas: B(3/3/3) | 26. Ty Buhler: B+(4/3/3) |

Top Value Picks
Round 1: Jordan Sisco. Only pre-season 2 way all-star. It is only fair that he goes to the weakest quarterback in the league.
Round 2: Jamir Walker. My second rated player in the league manages to make it to the second round. If he shows up every week, he will probably be a 2 way all-star
Round 3: Chris King. Consistently carries weaker teams, now he is matched up with Jordan Sisco. He will absolutly burn #2 corners, show up every week, and give max effort on defense.
Round 4: Taylor Kidby. Too good of an offensive player to slip to round 4 in this format.
Round 5: Matt Yausie. When most teams have 3 quality receivers, you need quality defensive players. With his speed, he may not be able to run with the #1's, but he put your #2 on shutter island. Compantent #3 receiver. I think that if he had a car, he would have got drafted higher
Round 6: Standard round, will go with Dawson as offensive will win this league. Van Sichem if he returns from injury at full speed.
Round 7: Ty Buhler. #3 receiver in round 7 is unheard of!
Round 8: Kitty Scneider. By selecting lineman early, allows Quest to select a skill player in round 7. I think this kid can play, so does Bernie Schmidt.

alright, i will post ths again after jean paul deleted it already, this is fucked mike kerr as almos the worst offense rating, even tho he is not on my team i have no choice but to back up my death row member, why such a bad offensive rating? With all due respect CHRIS SCIOG should never have a higher rating than mike kerr, also kirby shouldn't either because hs fingers are broken. remember boys im saying with all due respect, get your shit straight jean paul Hashem.
